In Memoriam

​Dear Co Kerry P&B Members & Friends, 
     It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of member Chris Keane on December 16th. Our deepest sympathies go out to Chris’s family.
  • Chris’s Visitation will be held on Tuesday 12/22 (immediately preceding his funeral Mass)
  • Riverdale on Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY.
Due to COVID restrictions, visitation is intended for immediate family only, but we have arranged for Co Kerry Association honoring at 9am
Chris’s Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday 12/22 at 10am at:
  • St. Gabriel’s Church, 590 West 235th Street, Bronx, N.Y. 10463
  • For those unable to attend the Funeral Mass a live stream of the service will be made available using the following link: https://m.facebook.com/events/133020091918975/    
     Chris emigrated to the US in 1950, entered active Duty with the US Army in 1951 serving honorably in Korea during the Korean War, and became a US citizen in 1954.  Chris was a 40-year member of our Association and was a proud employee of the US Postal Service for over 35 years.  Our Association will miss Chris dearly, may he Rest in Peace.
     Chris’s family have asked that, in lieu of flowers, they would prefer donations in Chris’s honor to The County Kerry P&B Association of NY at

​     It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of member John Lynch on November 24 th. Our deepest sympathies go out to John’s family, and in particular to his wife Mary, daughters Mary Ann, Bobbie and Bernadette, son’s-in-law Tim, Pat, and Colin, and grandchildren Conor, Emma, Caroline and Patrick.
​     John’s wake will be held on Sunday 11/29 from 4pm to 8pm at:

​     Gathering time for Co Kerry Association honoring tentatively scheduled for 6.30pm
